• Has a flexible approach towards several kinds of projects.
• Answers service calls and goes on service visits.
• Has a high degree of independence with regards to work to be done.
• Tests hardware and software.
• Consults engineering in Holland to resolve problems in system operation and maintenance.
• Instructs and directs VMI mechanics and sub-contractors.
• Advises the project manager about installing and commissioning machines.
• Reports to the project manager and the customer about the project's progress.
• Reports to engineering of any hard- and software changes.
• Reports to engineering of any necessary changes with regards to project documentation.
• Is responsible for testing and commissioning progress and deadlines.
• Prepares and gives operator- and maintenance training.

• University degree in Electrical engineering, automation, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience testing or maintaining tire / rubber / production machinery preferred.
• Exeperience on testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC's required.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written
• Has considerable experience with PLCs: for example with Allen Bradley and Siemens
• Motion control software
• HMI / MMI troubleshooting
• Has knowledge of electronic and mechanic principles
• Can use standard test instruments and hand tools.
• Has knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and has diagnostic skills.
• Has considerable experience with personal computers and programming equipment.
• Excellent in communication/ Leadership/ Team worker etc.
